Sailor Business

We're back, kicking off Sailor Business 2016 as we go full-steam into the second half of Sailor Moon R! The Dark Moon Clan goes after the first Crystal Point of Crystal Tokyo, and lo and behold...it's a make-up shop! We're joined by storyboard artist Cassidy Stone whose favorite Scout is SAILOR CHIBI MOON! How can this be? Find out this episode!

We've dreaded this day for a long time, but...at last, it she has come. With this episode, we meet that horrible spore, that famingo-haired freak, that father-loving war criminal...Chibi-Usa aka Reenie aka Mini-Moon! Nothing will ever be the same again. Chris and Jordan are not thrilled, but thankfully, Aidan Sullivan is with us--someone who actually LIKES the little fungus. PLUS: we reveal the winner of the complete set of Sailor Moon Manga provided by Kodansha!

This is it--the actual END of the Doomtree saga! The terrible tree teens, Alan and Ann, stand revealed...and both Mamoru and Usagi are captured and being drained of energy! Can the other scouts save them? No--they are useless this episode! But can they make it through some other way? Well, there are still 141 more episodes, so...probably, yeah. And we're joined by Aidan Sullivan to dig into the ROOTS of the issues.

We're reached the penultimate episode of the Doomtree Saga! It's been a weird road to get here, but as the Doomtree withers, Alan and Anne up their game and target the one and only moon pudding! Leanne Bartle is back again to help Chris and Jordan navigate their way through this nutso episode...which kicks off with a mascot-style, big-head stage show of Sailor Moon, complete with Luna. It's...real weird.

Get ready for Sailor Moon's Breakfast Club! Ok, now that I've said that, I can tell already it's confusing--no, I don't mean we should all eat one slice of toast on the run, I mean this week, Usagi is in detention! Ironically, she's in detention for eating lunch early, so it's more of a lunch club. Thanfully, Leanne Bartle joins the boys to stay after school and watch the fun! Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who's got the "most talent" of all? That's right, it's time for the obligatory school play episode, and all the cat fights you can imagine would ensue over what scout is most qualified to play Snow White! Thankfully, Donna Dickens (of Hitfix) is back to help Chris and Jordan sort through all the headshots and organize callbacks. PLUS, keep sending your contest entries to [email protected]!

This episode is the one we like to affectionately call "The Food Episode," as Alan is discovering the weird connection between food and love that seems to have a startling hold on every single teen girl in Japan. Plus, Donna Dickens (of Hitfix) is back to tell us what she thinks Alan is REALLY "eating". This is going to be a fun one. Oh yeah, and keep sending your contest entries to [email protected]!

This episode has been mentioned on the podcast a few times before...yes, we have finally reached the infamous "one where Rei does the talent show thing"! Will Chris and Jordan start liking her once they get to know her? Will Kristina Murdaugh, former fandubber from Negavision, help them come around to Rei's side? And will you all enjoy Jordan's ukulele cover of "Oh Starry Night"? Let's find out. PLUS, keep sending your contest entries to [email protected]!

And, we're back! And our next target is babies! Or rather, Alan and Ann's next target is babies...which introduces us to the superstar of the show, BABY JORDAN! Chris and Jordan are joined by Kristina Murdaugh, former fandubber from Negavision, to learn all about how babies pee on faces! Meanwhile, keep sending your contest entries to [email protected]!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! This week, we take a break from the anime to watch the year 2000 Sailor Moon Musical "Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon New/Transformation - The Path to Become the Super Warrior - Overture of Last Dracul"...also known as the one where Sailor Moon fights Dracula! Sort of. The boys are joined by T. A. Noonan for something they never thought they would encounter...AN INTERMINABLE, TERRIBLE SAILOR MOON SHOW! Meanwhile, keep sending your contest entries to [email protected]!
