Despite believing he would be mauled to death by a bear at the age of 38, Gardner is celebrating his 39th birthday. Trav owns an unexpected amount of knowledge about the TV show “Friends.” The Cardinals are riding high following a 2-1 win over the Pirates yesterday and subsequently winning their third straight series. TT isn’t ready to hop on the Cards bandwagon just yet. The crew wonders if Redbirds leadoff hitter Matt Carpenter could win the National League MVP Award. Travis and Gardsy recall a phone conversation they had over the weekend regarding fast food restaurants. The PGA Championship is in town at Bellerive Country Club this week. TT hopes there’s a St. Louis tint to the major golf event while also speculating about potential protests on Ladue Rd.

Travis struggles to read the “Sentence of the Week” he missed out on last Friday. A variety of random subjects are brought up in conversation. Which fast food restaurant lays claim to the best fried chicken? Are fondue parties fair or foul? Travis brings up Donald Trump’s tweet insulting the intelligence of NBA icon LeBron James and CNN anchor Don Lemon. The group attempts to figure out what QAnon is exactly. Trav isn’t happy with basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jordan’s response to Trump’s attack. All hell breaks loose during a weird argument about crimes committed by UFC brawler Conor McGregor and singer Chris Brown.

Chris is upset someone mistook him for “Saint Louis Live!” correspondent Jeff Jones yesterday. Trav feels the heat from the crew for bailing before the program ends. The group asks if the Cardinals are a fun team to watch after the team’s front office “reshaped” the roster over the past few weeks. “Call of the Game” features a two-run walk-off hit from Jose Martinez. Somehow the guys start talking about the Astros controversial situation involving their recently acquired relief pitcher Roberto Osuna. Gardner plays an audio clip of Cards radio broadcaster Mike Shannon attempting to remember the word homonym.

Gardner theorizes Travis bailed on the show to begin pre-partying for the Rascal Flatts concert tomorrow night. Chris reveals there’s a spot off highway 55 ideal for groundhog and gopher watching. Gardsy is intrigued by the idea of just sitting back and observing rodents. The “Saint Louis Live!” members try to figure out their favorite highway in the area. C. William breaks down the best park benches in our city. A listener suggests Gardner host a St. Louis version of “Unsolved Mysteries.” Would you rather attend a Rascal Flatts or Chris Brown concert?
