On the outskirts of the ghost town of Salt Springs, Nevada, at the edge of an abandoned highway that once led to the salt flats, stands a small shrine. Luna meets the elderly Mrs. Kettering, who tends to the shrine for her daughter Claire, missing for forty years. Mrs. Kettering speaks of footsteps at night and small gifts left at the shrine. Intrigued, Luna stays overnight and witnesses a childlike figure approaching the shrine in the moonlight. In the morning, a fresh blue flax flower lies on the altar. A quiet, unresolved encounter about loss, hope, and the thin boundary between memory and presence.
