There comes a moment for each Christ-follower where we must recognize storms are inevitable in life and those storms will either defeat us or define us as a person of faith. As we celebrate Easter, we look beyond the cross to see the resurrection and ascension of Jesus that fulfilled prophecies made hundreds of years before. 

In this study of Luke 8:40-56, we journey to the ancient city of Capernaum to revisit the ministry of Jesus to Jairus, the synagogue leader, and the woman with "the issue of blood". Their encounter with Jesus will offer us an open door to our own encounter with Jesus - Our Deliver through and from difficulty, disease and death.
