Christmas is filled with reminders of the promises of God. God declared that the child born - the son given woudl be special. The Word of God declares who He is. We can praise God for - He is.

Throughout the Bible we find God 'sending.' He sent angels, the prophets, John the Baptist, and Jesus. The good news is that God also wants to send you. He has a special purpose for you. Are you willing? Will you go?

The writer of 1 Thessalonians states that it is the will of God for those who follow Jesus to be joyful always, to pray continually and to give thanks in all circumstances. Thanksgiving shouldn't be something expressed one day or week each year, but should define our lives. 

The ultimate purpose in our partnership in the Gospel is to bring glory and honor to God. As Christian stewards, we are entrusted with the Gospel and we should desire to live faithful lives.
