Looking at the story of Mary and Martha in Luke chapter 10, we can evaluate our own lives by looking at their example. By looking at their priorities and state of mind, we should see the importance of Mary’s example. God wants us to work like Martha, but more importantly, he wants us to worship like Mary. Our lives should be defined by one thing, and that is to sit at the feet of Jesus regularly. 

We tend to want a lot of things, but crave very few things. The hard part is that sometimes we let our wants drive our actions & behaviors. Instead of living our lives filling our temporary wants, what if we lived with our deepest cravings filled in Jesus? If Jesus asked, “What do you want me to do for you?” How would you answer?
