In this episode we have a fun (unrehearsed) sharing of our favorite 3 lessons from Grants' book
The book is If you're not first you're last by Grant Cardone
David Bradley and I discuss our top 3 lessons that every BDC agent, BDC Manager, Internet Manager, and Salesperson should utilize in their day to day work.
David is a Sales and marketing manager for Cardone Training Technologies Inc.
Yesterday the world lost Kobe Bryant and his 13 year old daughter.
When you leave the world you will be remembered by those that loved you. What will you be remembered for?
Kobe left an impression on me with his book Mamba Mentality - You can get it here
My favorite part of the book was the section on Obsession, here is the excerpt I read to myself weekly.
"If you want to be great in a particular area, you have to obsess over it. A lot of people say they want to be great, but they're not willing to make the sacrifices necessary to achieve greatness. They have other concerns, whether important or not, and they spread themselves out."
Anything you are called to do in life requires your obsession.

I appreciate Ken so much for taking the time out of his day to spend time with me. Go through his channel, he is connected to the best minds on the planet, and I am humbled to be included.
I am going to go with the assumption that you desire to be a Superstar, and most of the items above you can start doing today. The hardest one will be “Worked by appointment only”. Do you know why that is the hardest one? It requires traffic in the form of calls/texts, emails and walk ins, it requires you do the other 4 things to get there.
Superstar Activities:
1. Marketed as a Specialist for their brand
2. Networked with associations/companies for leads/referrals
3. Advertised on social media with a value message “great service and time savings”
4. Utilized the CRM for email updates and newsletters on top of the calls/texts
5. Works by appointment only
This my way of setting goals the SMART way
S= Simple, Specific, Sensory
M= Measurable, Meaningful
A= As if now, Achievable
R= Responsible, Resources
T= Timed, Towards
This will help all year long.
There are 7 things you need to do when it comes to selling on social media today
1. Define your identity
2. Split up your name and identity in your IG profile
3. Remember the audience - the platform your using should drive the style of your content
4. Create content in multiple formats, audio - visual - tangible.
5. Re-purpose everything - there is something usable in every piece of content, cut it up and use it
6. Call to action needs to be in every advertising post/story/snap/status update
7. Boost your posts to ensure that your current following sees it, plus some new ones
