Salopcast

Salopcast had the chance to sit down with the three members of the media team at Shrewsbury town for an hour and talk through everything that is going on at the club and plans for the future

We spoke to Scott Demmerling the head of the media team about the local and national press, the media team moving to the training ground, Jason Cummings footage on the cutting room floor that can NEVER see the light of day and where the team get their inspiration for what and how they put content out across all platforms.

We also spoke to Matt Burgess the Graphic Designer and Videographer who talked us through his design process, the role the fans wants and needs play on that, the need for consistent branding at a football club and just where he gets his drone and his dislike of the rain!

Finally we spoke with Lewis Poole about the process he has for undertaking interviews, the bond that develops with player and manager and the trust that's needed, what to expect from this years programme and the importance of triple checking everything!

Lots more than all that including an enlightening chat about the time the club put together content to go out for a signing that then never happened (very recently!)

Enjoy the interview, and thanks to the club and the three lads in the media team for the opportunity to speak to them!

Glyn and Ollie (Salopcast)

We are back! After a summer break we are back discussing transfers, preseason and our new YELLOW kit.

Part Two - The Death of Rickettsball, Cotterill's dramatic arrival, COVID-19 strikes and the long slog to the end.

We are joined by Mike and Lewis to discuss this rather unique season. In this part we discuss summer recruitment, the awful start to the season and question why Ricketts was still in a job.

Part one of two!

We made it! It's been a long season! A tough last few weeks but at least it is over!

Another two game week in this intense season! After defeat to Wigan, Salop travelled to Blackpool and achieved a well earned 1-0 away victory. We bring you our normal analysis after another game week!

Two games, nil points and six goals against. We briefly discuss each game and focus on a series of discussion points.

Ollie is joined by Mike in Glyn's absence to discuss the 0-0 away draw at Gillingham.
