Salsa & Recocha

Loz’s 30th celebrations take us down memory lane as we reminisce on the madness that is a Colombian birthday party. We also review the delicious Dominican food served up by our friends at @bocachicaldn and quickly give our two cents on the Messi saga and the possible continuation of Eat Out to Help Out. Happy Friday guys, take a couple of shots to our #TuneOfTheWeek as we go back to Salsita de Alcoba

This week we talk about job shaming amongst Latinos in London, in particular towards cleaners and manual labourers. We also address some current affairs including the A-Level grades shambles, the Champions League knockout rounds and NBA Playoffs. But don’t worry, there was still plenty of time for a Colombian word of the day, la recocha and, most importantly, for your weekly dose of Salsa with a tune befitting this rainy week in London!

It could have just been a simple game but someone had to turn it into a minibet 👀 tune in to find out who will be doing a forfeit!

This week we reminisce on our years as teenagers and growing up as a Latino in London, including what it’s like visiting our own country as tourists and of course trying to hide/duck/run away from the most lethal weapon a mum can have... la chancla!

Thanks for joining us on our journey boys and girls! Simple one to start with, just a quick insight into Loz, GC, finding out who the fake Colombian is and what you can expect from us in future episodes. Enjoy!
