For the 100th episode of Salt Circle Ben and a bunch of friends in the Burning Barrel Discord watched as Hank streamed it live from his VCR playing a pre-special edition version of Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope in all it’s 4:3 glory. It was a fun time.

A bit late, but for Halloween Ben and Hank each picked a film to build this double feature. Ben chose Roger Corman’s The Masque Of the Red Death (1964) starring Vincent Price and Hank picked Little Otik(2000) directed by Jan Švankmajer.

This week Bean and Hank were going to do an Old Movie episodes, but the old movies were too long so that plan was put off. Then they were going to just record a movie commentary but technical issues also made that unfeasible as the movie file took forever to process. So they just turned on the microphones and had a chat. Obviously this lead to a bunch of Magic the Gathering talk because of course.

Thrill as Ben buys a video game while doing the podcast. Get chills as Hank goes through common and uncommons in the sets that are rotating out of standard that Ben should spend wild cards on. Chill as they decide to talk about video games an hour and a half into the podcast!
