Jesus tells His disciples that they are salt and light. As ambassadors of Christ in this world we called to be the same. Salt brings flavor, acts as a preservative as well as causes a burning sting in a wound. Our light is never to be hidden, but visible. When we walk as the light, some will be drawn while other hate the light.
