All hail Emerald Fennell! The English writer/director who brought us the critically heralded and Academy Award-winning, candy-colored revenge thriller Promising Young Woman, has followed-up it up with Saltburn, a visually-stunning thriller about class conflict, jealousy, obsession. 

This movie is not for everyone. On today’s episode, Kate and Carinn fall into different camps in terms of how this movie and some of its “never seen anything like it on the screen” moments land for each of them, but isn’t that what great art/content should do? Make you FEEL strongly (either way). By that measure, Saltburn certainly succeeds.
