Let's meet Valentino!
He is being fostered through the SPCA Serving Allegany County in Belmont New York.
If you think the SPCA just has cats, kittens, puppies and dogs...you are WRONG!
Here's the story of SCAR, who currently lives at the SPCA Serving Allegany County. He came in with an injury, was diagnosed with cancer and is now looking forward to a long and wonderful life!
Just because a cat doesn't look 'perfect' doesn't mean they don't deserve all the love!

Cats can suffer from the same diseases as us. Including diabetes. I once had a diabetic cat and her name was Althea. I would give her insulin twice a day and she lived a perfectly normal life. I would have to watch her numbers and keep an eye on her behaviors but she was worth every second of it. Special needs cats aren't hard to care for. It just takes a little bit more effort.
This is my POP-PAW-RAZZI this week, a weekly adopt a pet segment I do on Pop Radio 101. Let's learn about O'Doyle and find out why he's worth that little bit of extra effort! Go see him at facebook.com/popradio101. HE'S CUTE!
Lynda Pruski, Executive Director of the SPCA Serving Allegany County, tells us the story of the kittens found in a box along the highway. She also fills us in on how we can help the SPCA out over the holidays.
It's Lynda Pruski, the Executive Director from the SPCA Serving Allegany County!
Kittens in a box?

I have two passions in life:
Radio and Animals.
I'm one of those people that do not consider my furbabies "pets". I consider them to be family and they are…
I have ingrained myself into the animal community in every city that I've lived because speaking out for the welfare of those that can't speak is vital to who I am as a person. And as I've done this, I've found that there is a whole boatload of people that feel the exact same way as me. Their "pets" are more than something they get for their kids or get to guard their homes. They are as much part of the family as a human. A whopping 51% of people stated that in a recent survey.
