San Diego's once red-hot housing market appears to be cooling off. The average house in San Diego currently costs around $990,000, but houses are sitting on the market longer. The California Supreme Court has declined to review a San Diego civil jury verdict that awarded more than $46 million to a man who sustained a spinal cord injury during a Brazilian jiu-jitsu lesson in Del Mar that rendered him a  quadriplegic. The summer concert season is about to kick off at Gallagher Square, with some of the biggest names in music set to perform.
