This is the story of Dionysia, a princess set to be married off to a man she doesn't love. Labismena is a sea serpent who befriends the sad girl and helps her to escape the arranged marriage. Labismena's only request is that she is remembered on Dionysia's happiest day so that she may also be freed from her curse. Dionysia is so happy at winning over the handsome prince that she forgets her friend, who is cursed to forever call out her friend's name from the sea.
