  • Nature of Divine Grace: What You Sow, That Shall Sprout! | 1991 முதல் வேள்வி: இறை அருளின் தன்மை: எதை விதைக்கிறாயோ அதுவே முளைக்கும்!

All the people of this world must be freed from hunger! When hunger arises, even good qualities fly away. That is why the great sages emphasized annadānam—the offering of food—as the highest charity. They said, “Those who give food give life itself.”

Even if crops grow in my own land, there must be a governance that can distribute them to all nations. What kind of governance should that be? A selfless rule that regards all living beings of the world as one’s own life. That is true purity! When one pure soul utters a word, it becomes a world—hunger disappears, the false honor given to wealth vanishes, and worship evolves beyond many forms into one. From form to formlessness, from the visible to the invisible, one is led to understand both the divine principle and the principle of nature. Beyond caste, religion, race, and language, one can live in a supreme state.

Can people unite by caste? By religion? By race? By color? Never! Everywhere divisions remain. Yet what pervades this universe is called Śivam. You are seated as that Sivam. Now, Sakti is Prakṛti. Without Sivam, there is no Sakti; without Sakti, there is no Sivam. Together they are the world—the state of the cosmos. To understand this, we need not study the Vedas or the Āgamas. Our great Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan did not study them; through his  direct experience he attained this high state of self. He could not speak Tamil, nor write it. Is he a Mahan? In Madurai, the seat of Tamil Sangam, where Tamil was nurtured, this question arose. That very night he began writing the book “I God.” This is supreme power of true Self experience! This supreme power is called the wisdom of the great seer.

You are all this True Self!  You are not merely a Lower intellect!  Love is within you. Wisdom is within you. Power is within you. When you use these three, bliss and peace naturally arise. The omnipresent power is in this universe. This is the experience of bliss awaiting for you!. It does not see high or low, rich or poor, learned or unlearned, man or woman, old or young. Whoever longs for it, to them grace flows. It declares: “So let it be!” Therefore, whatever you think, that is what you reap.

Thus, joy and sorrow, good and evil do not come from others. They arise from within you. If you sow good, you reap good. If someone cheats you, you may say at home, “He deceived me.” Then others will reply, “We knew it already; five years ago you deceived your partner, and this is the fitting result.” Why? Because when we go to temples and worship, God does not simply watch us. There is a saying, " The king makes the  decision for the crimes  instantly, but the divine takes in its own time" . This is not God’s punishment. It is the fruit of one’s own deed. Five years ago, he acted thus; later, when he mingled with a wiser man, the thought arose in that man’s mind: "This one will deceive." With forewarning, he deceived him first. Therefore, what is done in the morning bears fruit in the evening. You sow, and you alone reap. Sow goodness, and you will harvest goodness!

  • Why do People from west come to Bharath, especially tamil nadu to experience eternal bliss? |1991 -முதல் வேள்வி: ஏன் அனைவரும் உண்மையான ஆனந்தத்தைத் தேடி இந்த புண்ணிய பூமிக்கு வருகிறார்கள்?

To achieve the divine state, a minimum of 12 years of penance is necessary. Do we possess the patience for this? Even after this satsang, we will begin to depart one by one. If it requires 12 years to realize God, we may question whether we truly need that God. Living in a state of lethargy and leisure, why should we concern ourselves with God?
The happiness and peace sought by many individuals in developed nations lead them to the spiritual haven of India. If they were truly content and joyful in their own countries, what would compel them to travel to India? They have searched for peace externally, yet our ancestors and rishis have researched and preserved resources for future generations. Even amidst chaos, there exists an underlying peace in Tamil Nadu, as many siddhars (18 esteemed South Indian sages), nayanmars (Shaivaite saints), and aazhvars (Vaishnavaite saints) were born and lived here. Numerous new political initiatives that benefit the populace are consistently introduced and implemented in Tamil Nadu.
Those born in India are indeed blessed. Those residing in South India are even more fortunate, while those in Tamil Nadu and the Kongu region are exceptionally blessed, as many Atma Jothis have lived here. My presence in this region is by divine will. In the Olympic Games, many skilled competitors from various nations vie for victory, but the one who triumphs possesses extraordinary stamina, bravery, courage, and focused determination (Ekagra Sitham). Similarly, in this Universe, during this time, this velvi had to occur as it is divine will. Without divine grace, no one feels the urge to worship God. We must always be prepared to receive divine grace. To achieve this, we must eliminate our tamasic quality of laziness. Overeating and focusing on the third eye center can lead to indigestion, as the prana flow will move upwards when it is needed for proper digestion. Any doctor would advise against this practice, as improper execution can harm the body. Hence, moderation is the key.
Moderation in eating, sleeping, breathing, and overall living is crucial. The Vedas and Upanishads instruct us on how to live. They proclaim, “Oh Man! There exists a divine treasure within you! The singular energy that permeates the entire universe, the force that warms the sun, cools the moon, and governs the cosmos resides within you at the eyebrow center as atma sakthi. In the Aitareya Upanishad, it is stated that God created every living being equally, just like Himself. Children who are perpetually joyful exist in their natural crown chakra state. During meditation, as we inhale deeply, the universal energy transforms into life force. This phenomenon is known as Kaya Siddhi. The body and mind harmonize with the life force, which is the essence of Yoga. Gnana Siddhi refers to the realization that the God who governs the Universe dwells within us. This understanding dispels the veils of ignorance and provides us with clarity. The individual who attains all these Siddhis – Yoga, Gnana, and Kaya Siddhi – is the true Yogi, as described in the Bhagavad Gita. This journey is aimed at the advancement of not only humanity but the entire Universe.

  • Gurumahan's thirst to experience self and attainment after meeting Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan | குருமகான் தன்னிலை அடைந்த வைராக்கிய அனுபவம்

    Gurumahaan'a Brahmacharya vairagya :

Whenever I saw any woman, I treated her as if she were my mother. Back then, it was said that gazing at women would stir desires, causing the vairagya needed to reach God to fade away.
Gurumatha is my sister’s daughter. From the moment my sister reached puberty until her marriage, I never looked at her due to my Brahmacharya. Even when I had to visit her home, I would inform her home in advance to avoid looking at her, and if she came to our house for three days, I would stay outside out of respect and to maintain my brahmacharya vairagya. Only after she left would I return home.
I resolved never to marry in my pursuit of God. When I met Paranjothi Mahaan, I sincerely asked, “Who am I?” I aspired to become God; I had no desire to be a doctor or an engineer. When I gazed at images of Lord Murugan or Lord Ganesha, I wished to embody that divinity. In my devotion to Lord Shiva, I yearned to unite with Shivam. This was not arrogance, but rather an intuitive desire to merge with God. During Vishnu’s suprapadham, it felt as though the song was awakening me. In places where praises of the Lord or Nature were sung, I felt a profound connection, as if I were the Lord and Nature, experiencing oneness with them. Everything resides within us. The absence of duality is the ultimate spiritual truth. If there are two, that is dwaitham, which implies separation. Even at a young age, no one taught me this externally; it was an inner intuition. I would ponder whether it was possible to become God and felt that it certainly was. At that time, the book “I-God (Naan Kadavul)” was published. I was attracting what I sought. At 19, while in college, I learned about Paranjothi Mahaan. However, I was doubtful about his dark attire, as Periyar, an atheist, also wore black attire, and my family would disapprove. Vivekananda stated that only Brahmacharya could lead to self-realization. To elevate the bindu, I consumed a natural seed to shield my body from snake and scorpion bites, allowing me to peacefully engage in Tapas in the forests.
As I was turning my body into poison, my friend’s mother saw me consuming it and pleaded me to stop, reminding me that I am my parents’ only son. Even though I assured her that I would not eat it again, I was convinced that my body had already absorbed the poison to safeguard me. I experienced profound vairagya in my pursuit of God. Occasionally, I would leave home and come back after two days. My mother never questioned my actions and had unwavering faith in me and my spiritual journey. She trusted that I would always return and consistently follow the right path.

  • 1991- I held firmly only onto the divine vibration within though many sorrows, troubles came my way!

This is Gurumahan's discourse after the completion of 1st 21 days of Penance in the year 1991!

Mei unarvu (Divine vibration imparted through Guru) means everything to me, I believed in it wholeheartedly. I couldn’t abandon it, which led me to reach the highest level of consciousness. Today, I sit before you as the divine light of Paranjothi. Those who possess faith never falter. That faith has enabled me to conquer numerous obstacles, pain, suffering, and sorrow without wavering internally. I focused solely on irai unarvu, avoiding distractions from various paths. It has granted me self-realization. If an ordinary person like me can achieve liberation and endure penance for 21 days without food, sleep, and in complete silence, without interacting with the outside world or seeing my beloved disciples, then you too can attain this inner freedom. Without a doubt, you all can achieve it. Trust yourself. Every individual has a purpose for being born on Earth. If you have joined this satsang, it is because of a strong desire to be in the Guru’s presence. Now you are here to perform your karma seva. After this gathering, you will return home. Similarly, every soul is born on Earth, engages in karma yoga, and then returns to the source. Now, the path to your home is clear to you, and you are moving towards it. After we leave our physical bodies, where do we go? Do we contemplate this? We often think, 'Let’s see what happens after we die.' While this body is still in good condition, we can discover the truth. That’s why, during the second week of the three-week penance, we pray for the peace of the souls who have departed and whose desires remain unfulfilled. In Tamil Nadu and other regions around the world, people’s minds are clouded with countless desires and indifferences stemming from caste, religion, race, and language. When we visit temples and pray, our prayers reach the Holy Gurus, meditators, and karma yogis. This is why, upon completing my penance and drinking the sacred milk, my heart overflows with contentment. During the penance, I have wept, pondering, 'When will people’s hearts be fulfilled? When will Mother Earth be at peace? When will the jivas find contentment?' My tears could easily form an ocean of salt water. All people should come together for "One word, One world." I firmly believe in a peaceful existence. We perceive Earth as the sole habitable planet. By attaining higher levels of tapas, we can discover numerous worlds inhabited by loving beings. Many individuals harbor polluted thoughts, leading to conflicts driven by selfishness. Ascend to the summit of the nearby Bhavani Ooratchikootam mountain and observe the entire town. All the houses seem diminutive. Similarly, as we achieve a higher state of meditation, the world will appear ordinary. The conflicts stemming from selfishness are escalating, and the unending quest for happiness and peace is sought externally. However, Santhosham, or true happiness, is not found outside; it resides within us.

  • Dawn of the 1st 21 day Holy Penance in 1991 conducted by Gurumahan and his mission | 1991- முதல் வேள்வியில் 21 நாட்கள் வேள்வி இயற்றியதன் நோக்கம்

The initial week of penance is intended for the benefit of all living beings on the planet. The second week is devoted to the peace (Shanthi) of those souls who have passed away. The third week is for the virtuous souls from the Universe who aspire to be born to righteous parents. Similar to how a farmer seeks fertile soil for quality seeds, these souls also seek spiritually advanced parents.

There exist souls that have been born and have attained self-realization. Swami Vivekananda asserts that whenever there is a necessity for goodness in humanity, he will incarnate and determine the moment to depart from the physical form (Icha death – death at one’s own will).

Bhishma possessed the remarkable ability to choose the timing of his death. Despite being in the Dakshanayana phase (the night of the Gods), he opted to leave his body during the Uttarayana phase (the morning of the Gods).

  • Gurumahan’s divine mission — Global peace through Global Dharmic Governance ! குருமகானின் அவதார நோக்கம் - ஓர் உலக சமதர்ம நல்லாட்சி மூலம் உலக சமாதானம்!

The purpose of your birth is to achieve a state beyond birth. The objective of attending school is to complete your education. The aim of inhabiting a human body is to attain liberation or Jivan Mukthi. Have faith that this is your final lifetime. I will not be reborn due to any unfulfilled desires. I will attain a state that is birthless, deathless, and immortal. I am the light that emerges from that Paranjothi. As I depart from my body, I will merge with the source. Currently, I am Atma Jothi confined within a body, but once I leave this body, I will unite with the boundless Paranjothi. Having realized my true Self, I carry out my responsibilities righteously as karma yoga using this bodily instrument. Through my mind and intellect, I fulfill what is expected of me. Utilizing the higher intellect, I will engage in the divine task of helping others recognize their true Self. Oh divine beings, you are all born to fulfill your divine responsibilities, yet having forgotten them, you are reborn endlessly. This Margazhi month (mid-December to January) opens the gateways to the heavenly realm through the Crown chakra. My sole purpose for incarnation is to guide you to the heavenly realm. After many incarnations, I am now here to elevate the entire human society into a divine society through self-realization. The 24 years of penance have been dedicated to my purpose of incarnation. From this 25th year of penance, I will reveal to the world 'Who am I' and fulfill my dharma in uplifting society. You and your future generations will also engage in this dharma, as this penance will bring about a transformation in the mind-body-emotion levels of humanity. Bharat (India) has the singular purpose of spreading peace throughout the world. The entire world, once united, has been divided by oceans. This divided world must come together again for a singular true governance that transcends economic status with a unified currency. One world, one currency is the message of this Guru, realized through Kadavul (Self).
