I felt like I needed the reminder today that it's not me, it's the system, and maybe you need to hear that too. It's not a character flaw that we are burnt out. It's not our fault that we feel lonely but don't have the energy to put ourselves out there. The system is designed to keep us isolated and spending our money on things we hope will help us feel more worthy and alive. I don't have all the answers for either of us, but I think it's important to remember that we aren't broken, but the system is.
