Quarantine in solitude: strategies to cope with it.
Quarantining alone at home is not easy. It is important to have adequate strategies to cope with this time in the best way, taking care above all that our mind always acts as our best ally.
Many people face quarantine alone. The current circumstances have come unexpectedly and almost without realizing it, COVID-19 has frozen our lives, our routines and our chores.
Doing it in company, with your family or as a couple makes confinement lighter by having stimuli, with the ties of daily affection and the support that is so comforting.
In other situations, we may be forced to face this period of uncertainty in the silence of our home. Either because that is how we live most of the time, either because work obligations compel us to do so, or because we are an elderly person.
In any of these cases, the situation changes a lot and we can be more sensitive to factors such as anxiety, stress and the weight of isolation.
