Bernard McMullan sits with the Sasso's this week to discuss a great event in Trenton, NJ, "Taste Trenton".

"We know people come in for special events but then quickly depart or don't come early because they don't think there's anywhere to eat before going to a concert or a game," said Trenton civic activist, Bernard McMullan, "We'd like to change that mindset."

Frank is on location this week at Trenton Social with TC Nelson. Hidden in the shadows of the Sun National Bank Arena on South Broad Street is Trenton Social. Outside the restaurant and bar, small tree branches hover over an outdoor eating area and low lights lead to a side entrance. Inside, the atmosphere is intimate, modern and chic.
“I want South Broad Street to be our Bourbon Street and the arena, the Sun National Bank Center, to be our Madison Square Garden,” Trenton Social owner T.C. Nelson said, describing his vision for Trenton.

Christina is on location this week at the Passage Theater to talk to Ryanne Domingues about her role at Passage. Ryanne had the pleasure of directing plays that challenge and excite audiences for over 15 years. Born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she received her undergraduate degree from Bloomsburg University while working on various productions with the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble. Following graduation and a yearlong directing and dramaturgy internship with Portland Stage Company, she spent six years in Philadelphia working for a variety local theatres, including The Wilma Theater, InterAct Theatre Company, and Plays & Players Theatre. During this time, she also co-founded and served as the Producing Artistic Director of Simpatico Theatre, where she directed a variety of shows whose themes reflected the company’s mission to encourage active dialogue that promotes positive social change in the community. During this time, she also participated in the 2008 Lincoln Center Director’s Lab and the La MaMa Umbria International Symposium for Directors.

Frank is on location this week at the Thunder Stadium to talk with GM Jeff Hurley. Under Hurley's leadership, the Thunder recently completed their 25th season at ARM & HAMMER Park; a campaign that hosted three of the 20 largest crowds in franchise history. The Thunder welcomed a total of 351,297 fans which was the fourth highest total in the Eastern League and the highest total for the franchise since the 2014 season. The 2018 Eastern League All-Star Classic, presented by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, welcomed the 9th largest crowd in franchise history when 8,296 fans watched the league's stars face-off on Wednesday, July 11.

The one and only Tony Goggles and Sara Casey join the show this week to discuss the Goggles name, intricacies of making films, DI Why?, a gift for Tony's Aunt, and how dangerous this duo would be if Blockbuster Video was still around.

Frank hangs with Andrew O'Connor this week. Andrew owns O'Connor Painting in Trenton, NJ. "Painting's an art, and Andrew's the artist!" A graduate of The School of Visual Arts in New York City, Andrew also attended Slocum College of Architecture at Syracuse University. At SVA, he studied Media Communications with graphic designer Milton Glazer.
He started working as an art director with McCann-Erickson Worldwide in New York City. He also worked as a freelance editorial illustration work for publishers including New York Magazine and Ms. Magazine. Andrew also taught graphic design in the continuing education program at Parsons School of Design in NYC.

Deborah Raab sits with Christina Sasso on location this week to talk about Tea-For-All™. Tea-For-All™ was founded in 2011 by Deborah and has evolved as a result of her personal love for the rituals of tea. She has such an appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into each individual tea type (leaf of the camellia sinensis or camellia assamica from tree to cup); the history and evolution of tea; the many different peoples of the world that hold tea as a meaningful part of their culture; and, most of all the ability that this one plant brings people together to meet with one another and share their dreams, concerns, and passions over a warm cup. She brings her passion for tea to specialty tea shops throughout New Jersey and Bucks County PA in hope of educating others.

Leon Rainbow chose to call Trenton home for both the arts scene as well as the community and its people. He talks with Frank how the city has embraced and supported him through his artistic journey. He has become one of the leaders in the arts community which has been growing and building over the past 15 years in the Capital City.

Anne LaBate has been active in commercial real estate for over 25 years. During the last 18 years, she has focused on sales and leasing and prior to that, the appraisal of commercial properties. As a Trenton resident, she has a particular interest in promoting the competitive advantages of Trenton real estate.
