Mayor Reed Gusciora is in the studio to give the Sassos an update on the exciting things happening in the city. He also addresses the Kingsbury Towers, 10 new cannabis dispensaries opening in the city, and breaks Frank's heart on the legalities of cigar smoking in the capital city.

This week, The Sassos get on the phone with Trenton At-Large Councilwomen Crystal Feliciano and Trenton South Ward Councilwoman Jenna Figueroa for a brief conversation and then sit with New Jersey based artist, April Cooper! They discuss her upcoming show at Artworks "A Stolen Aesthetic" as well as what shows they're watching, 70's and 80's trends, and more! April loves to create art. Cooper depicts images of black culture in art because representation in this world is a necessity.

Recently, the City of Trenton, NJ recognized Jessica Nazario, for her scholastic achievements, both academic and extracurricular.
This week, Jessica appears as a guest on the Trenton Waves podcast with Christina and Frank Sasso. "In an effort to continue the recognition", says the Sassos, "we gifted her with her very own Canon EOS Rebel T3Digital SLR Camera."
Nazario is a junior at Trenton Central High School, maintaining A’s and B’s in all subjects while participating in various extracurricular activities including student council, being a member of the Esteem Makeover Project, co-anchoring the school news production, and live coverage of Trenton High School basketball games with her teacher on WBCB 1490 AM radio.
After high school, Nazario plans to graduate from college and become a teacher or school guidance counselor.
