  • Homophobic Demonization (Part 3): L.G.B.T spells S.A.T.A.N

If you think the "Gay Agenda" involves secret occult rituals and 1980s heavy metal... you’ve probably been listening to the people in this episode. While Parts 1 and 2 covered ancient texts and history, this is where things go full modern meltdown. By the 1970s, as rights expanded, the backlash got creative. Homosexuality and transgender identity were "upgraded" from sins to something far more cinematic: a coordinated Satanic operation to destroy civilization. Obviously.

    IN THIS EPISODE:

THE ORANGE JUICE CRUSADE: Why Anita Bryant thought being short was a "lifestyle choice."

THE GAY AGENDA: How $13.95 VHS tapes and "scientific" poo-eating claims built the modern Christian Right.

THE PINK SWASTIKA: Debunking the wild conspiracy that the Nazi party was a "homofascist" operation.

SATAN’S LABORATORY: Why televangelists think the Devil is making "knockoff" humans and using Taylor Swift to trigger hurricanes.

SERIES WRAP: We’ve gone from the Bronze Age to talk-radio theology. The pattern is clear: arguments don't get smarter as rights expand—they just get louder, weirder, and more expensive.

    TWO CONCLUSIONS:

    1. Bigotry is rarely imaginative.
    2. There is massive money in preaching hate.

  • Homophobic Demonization (Part 2): Historical Hysteria

Same-sex relationships pre-date the Bible, the pyramids, and—if we’re being honest—probably Homo sapiens. From prehistoric rock art to royal Egyptian manicurists, we trace the long, strange history of LGBT people before religion and politics turned queerness into a capital crime.
In Part 2 of our series, we follow how acceptance slowly mutates into suspicion, punishment, and full-blown hysteria. From Ancient Greece and Roman smear campaigns to medieval burnings, crusader paranoia, and the Buggery Act, this episode charts how empires repeatedly turned sexuality into a political weapon.

Along the way: Julius Caesar the “every man’s woman,” a teenage Roman emperor allegedly requesting gender reassignment surgery, knights burned for sodomy, homemade leather strap-ons confusing German courts, and the last men executed for homosexuality in Britain.
We also move into the modern era — cross-dressing laws, Nazi persecution, chemical castration, McCarthyism, and the road to Stonewall.

In this episode I will try and decipher the attitude towards the LGBT community throughout history.

  • Homophobic Demonization (Part 1): Biblical Origins

What does the Bible actually say about LGBT people? Turns out… a lot less than modern homophobes claim, and a lot more about incest, prostitution, and gang rape. We’re investigating the so-called “clobber passages” to see if the Good Book is actually anti-LGBT, or if it’s just a collection of Bronze Age misogyny and bad translations.
God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve — but did he mention Jerry’s third nipple? In this episode, we break down the most commonly cited “anti-gay” Bible passages and put them back into their historical and textual context. From the binary narrowness of Genesis to the biological reality of intersex people in antiquity, and from Sodom and Gomorrah to the letters of the Self-Proclaimed Apostle Paul, we examine the scripture that has been used to justify homophobia for centuries.
If the Bible is supposed to clearly condemn LGBT people, why does it spend so much time ignoring them while endorsing deeply disturbing behavior? Join us as we figure out why LGBT identity and ancient scripture are simply incompatible.

  • Large Hadron Collider or the Modern Prometheus

Thousands of the world's smartest people built the most expensive machine in human history to unlock the secrets of the universe, and the internet's response was… "portal to hell." We’re diving into the many, many CERN conspiracy theories surrounding the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) to find out how a particle physics experiment became the internet’s favorite modern-day Tower of Babel.

We start with a quick explainer of the Large Hadron Collider—a machine designed to smash particles at near light speed—and how CERN ended up at the center of some of the internet’s most persistent modern myths. (Spoiler: In 1964 someone called the Higgs boson the "God particle," and things basically went downhill from there.)

From there, we unpack the fever swamp of enduring CERN conspiracy theories, including black holes, interdimensional gateways, and the alleged ancient Egyptian wormhole technology that has the Vatican panicking. We also dig into the mystery of the Celtic horned god that may or may not have ever existed, and Project S.A.T.A.N.—the experiment that was almost (unwisely) named after the Morning Star. Finally, we address the Mandela Effect’s strange habit of drifting into particle physics discussions it has no business being in, and the legendary weasel-and-baguette saga that nearly broke billion-dollar science.

Join us as we figure out how a friendly particle accelerator became the primary source for apocalypse fan-fiction and the world’s most overworked metaphor.

Spoiler: CERN is not opening a portal to hell. The internet, however, absolutely is.
