Saturday Nights at Prestonwood Baptist Church - Audio

Jesus may not operate on our timetable. But as we wait on him, he will always do more in us, and do better for us, than we could ever ask or imagine. Jesus ALWAYS responds to faith! Take a radical risk! Let’s exhibit faith for the glory of God!

Are you in need of change in your life? Have you been wanting change in your life but didn't know what needed it? What is going to change your life is not behavior modification…its not a change in your environment…what is going to change your life is the power of God! It is the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Throughout the "Why Believe" series, Luke has been teaching us and showing us who Jesus is and what he does. In this message by Associate Pastor Neal Jeffrey we look at being still and knowing that Jesus is Lord. Do not fear. Storms may come but He is bigger than the storm.

Pastor Graham and the preaching team bring a powerful message from Luke 7:36-50. Jesus used the simple washing of feet by a sinful woman to show Simon, and us, an important lesson. Your salvation is not tied to how much you know or what you do. You will NEVER experience a conversion of the heart until you see what it means to be broken and ruined by your sin and by faith throw yourself at the mercy and grace of God.

When Jesus was looking through history he said the greatest individual who ever lived was John the Baptist. Unfortunately John didn’t get to hear this until he went to heaven. But Jesus told those around him that “John was a prophet, a forerunner, the one who is introducing me to the world.”

There are some things we won’t know on this side of eternity. But the first breath in the clear fresh air of heaven will be true. God is faithful. Jesus will lead you all the way.

Marvelous faith. It’s a faith that gets Gods attention. A faith that is not afraid to ask…not afraid to act. We need to commit today to immediately act on the faith that we have no matter how small it may be. Acting on small faith is an expression of humility that says, “God this is all I have…” Do you have it?

Are you building on a foundation of obedience? If not, repent. Confess your sins. Enter into a right relationship with Jesus. He stands ready to receive and to restore. You can begin building on a firm foundation today. It starts with him having all of our heart.

The only answer to battling the cry for tolerance in our culture today, is to reveal less of our judgmental attitudes and become much more aggressive in living and showing the love of Christ. This is the only way to live! This is the essence of Christianity. We don’t live for ourselves, but we live for those who are not yet reached and so we self-inspect before we get consumed with pointing out the weaknesses of others!

There is no greater way to freedom than forgiveness. You are not living the Kingdom life…you are not entrusting yourself, your situation or your enemies to God…until you forgive. Following Christ is NOT easy, but we have a promise that if we are children of God, by the power of his Holy Spirit within us we can forgive others. It’s the Kingdom way to live…and for the follower of Jesus, the only way to live.

For our Father's Day services guest speaker Michael Dean Chadwick brings a powerful message to encourage fathers. Watch and listen to his powerful testimony!
