Hello gents,

Like a lot of people, I have gotten back into models in the past month after many years away from the hobby. It seems like a recurring theme these days and wow I can’t believe how much I am enjoying it again. Not sure why I left but work, moving, raising a family seemed to get in the way.

Do you have an air compressor you would recommend to someone with airbrushing experience but not an expert by any means (trying to get there though). I would like a 3-litre tank attached with a regulator and water trap. So many to choose from that I don’t know what is good or what is not.

Don’t feel like dropping $500 for an Iwata air compressor as I think my wife may have a cow. Trying to keep in the $200 range. I have been using my Iwata HP-C airbrush on a 5-gallon air tank that has a regulator and water trap installed. Works well but a pain the ass to have to run down to the garage and refill halfway through a project. Time for an air compressor.

Loving the podcast and the info you are sharing. I laughed when you told the story of dropping the X-Acto blade in your lap and cutting your leg. I just did that recently and now have a hole in my right thigh.
