The Federal Reserve could soon see a change in leadership as its chair is under a criminal investigation. It comes as President Donald Trump has been trying to remove Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell from his position in a bid to install new leadership that could lower interest rates. The criminal charges are over Powell’s testimony to a Senate committee on the renovations of Federal Reserve buildings.
