Have you guys ever had a book to complete or add to a series that when you finished it, you thought… “Perfect!” Or alternatively, one where you were disappointed and it just didn’t get there for you. For me, Harry Potter. I just closed it and it was perfect.  On the other end I was disappointed with the last Deborah Harkness book “The Book of Life.”

So my ask a nerd question. What do you guys think about bonus chapters in print only editions? The only time I read print is if I borrow from the library. In this instance the bonus chapter added a lot and was great. I don’t think we should be “punished” for buying the digital. Why can’t they get the bonus chapter too?

‘Tis the season…fa la la la la…ho ho ho and all that jazz. If you are looking for a few Christmas themed books we’ve got some pretty good suggestions for you. Some are old, some are new, all will leave you full of Christmas spirit and joy. I think we cover all of the genres so you should be able to find something for which ever reading kink you need rubbing out. (see, it’s sentences like that that land me on the Naughty list every damn year!)

It’s that time of year friends, “Best Of…” lists are popping up all over the damn place – it’s time to let your voice be heard. It’s been an exciting year in the book world and we have tons of diverse books to pick from. Frankly, I’m glad I don’t have to pick because my list is way too long! Ok, so here’s how this works…First, listen to the podcast!
