There is nothing I love more…well, that’s a lie already because I do love many things, most of which I cannot write about here for fear of embarrassing future Weenas who might share my DNA…and where was I going with this? Oh, yeah, there is nothing I love more than reading a smoking hot male master-debating scene. Most authors can write pages and pages of female self-lovin’…generally yawners for me because I’ve got one of THOSE, and I know how to do THAT. But, alas, most male characters are given two scant paragraphs to hurriedly rub one out in the shower. Very unsatisfying for the male character and me. Mostly me. It’s all about me. One of the most satisfying scenes I’ve ever read was in Cara McKenna’s, “Curio” where the hero takes self-pleasuring to a Whole ‘Notha Level, and he went on and on and before he went in and in and in. I thought I had died and gone to Male Master-Debating Heaven where your wrist never gets tendonitis and hairy palms are a badge of honor. Do you have any books recs with some worthwhile Man vs. Hand scenes–kinda like Man vs. Wild only hotter. And without chafing. Help me out, Sexy Book Nerd Herd!

Teresa has read a variety of romance and erotica and finds the level of detail in the sexual encounters written either quite explicit or barely there. Her question regarding those highly detailed descriptions: Do readers use the encounters as a training manual or area of instruction to compliment their existing sexual repertoire?
