Mountshannon native, living in Tulla and Re elected back to the Dail for the Constituency of Clare at the last general election after a poll topping performance. Timmy was recently made a Junior Minister with responsibility as Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and the Marine with special responsibility for Fisheries and at the Department of Climate, Environment and Energy with special responsibility for the Marine. Clares’ fourth female TD and first from Shannon came into studio to talk about her experiences growing up in Northern Ireland and moving to Shannon at a young age. Always an activist,-Donna got involved in politics and has twice served as a member of the Shannon Municipal District and was re elected last May. In November she won a seat for Sinn Fein in Clare Constituency and has recently been appointed to the front bench of her party.
