Volunteers Pat O'Brien, David Fleming and Anita Ryan of Scariff Bay Community Radio travelled to  Lisdoonvarna in September 2022 to take in the sights and sounds and the flavour of the internationally known Matchmaking festival.  On Monday last 16th October 2023 Minister for Further Education, Simon Harris was in the Scariff campus of the College of FET in Drewsborough Tuamgraney to announce funding for an extension to the facility.  SBCR was there to cover the announcement.
