News Extra -It has been a good week for Scariff Bay Community Radio as we received a gold award from CRAOL, we hear from Jonathan Harper about the big concert in Killaloe cathedral next weekend, we hear about a new history of Ballyea GAA while Smith O'Briens GAA club won the Intermediate Hurling Championship a fortnight ago and brought the Pappy Callaghan back to Killaloe. SBCR was there they arrived home.

As the community in Scariff celebrates the 200th anniversary of Scariff church, we chat with Tim McGillicuddy about the history of the building.

Jeff Brennan works at Irish Seed Savers but he is also a trained in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and he tells us about this.

We also talk to Breda McNamara of Cnoc na Gaoithe on how they developed the old convent orchard into an open space for people to use.
