As we continue our Lenten journey, we look to the cross—the ultimate display of love and sacrifice. In John 19:25-27, Jesus, even in His final moments, ensures that His mother is cared for, demonstrating the boundless love that guides us all. His words, “Behold, your son” and “Behold, your mother” form a new kind of family—one bound not by blood, but by faith, love, and the sacrifice of Christ.

This love, seen most profoundly at the cross, calls us to live differently. We often search for love in fleeting places—relationships, achievements, material comforts—but true, lasting love is found in Jesus. His self-giving love compels us to love others with that same sacrificial spirit. Who in your life needs to experience Christ’s love through you today?

Join us in worship as we reflect on the love of Christ that guides us to the cross and into a life of love for one another.

🔴 Key Takeaways from Today’s Service

  • Sermon: Temptation, Trust, and Timing… Treading the Path of Christ | Psalm 91:1-13 & Luke 4:1-13

Temptation, Trust, and Timing… Treading the Path of Christ

    Online Bulletin: https://tinyurl.com/mphpmcsu

In our fast-paced, "I want it now!" culture, we're accustomed to immediate gratification—from instant news and online banking to buy-now-pay-later offers. Yet, what happens when we slow down and journey intentionally through the season of Lent?

In this service, titled "Temptation, Trust, and Timing… Treading the Path of Christ," we explore how Jesus faced temptation in the wilderness (Luke 4:1-13) and how He responded with unwavering trust in God's Word (Psalm 91:1-13). Jesus teaches us that immediate gratification doesn’t lead to lasting satisfaction—true fulfillment comes from relying on God's promises, not temporary fixes.

Together, we’ll reflect on the parallels between Jesus' temptations and our own struggles in today's instant-gratification culture. Whether it's stress, relationships, or daily pressures, we're reminded that only God's Word offers lasting satisfaction and true strength.

Join us as we journey towards the cross, grounded in the victory and forgiveness Christ has already won for us.
