Next, we welcome Ian's brother Kent back to the podcast. We also welcome his travel partner Matt.  Kent and Matt share the story of their harrowing 2013 adventure to Siberia in the dead of winter. The extreme climate and real possibility of death make for quite a tale. We hope you enjoy listening to the story as much as we did.

In this episode, we review the "Mettal EP" from Rodrigo y Gabriela. Metal tunes played in a Flamenco style is an interesting way to change things up.

Next, we talk about the 1997 "Phoenix Lights" UFO sightings, which were seen by thousands and reported by mainstream media.  Was this some sort of military test, or was this of extraterrestrial origins?

This week we change things up a little bit. We skip the album review and talk about dogs: We learn about the proposed origins of modern canines and the symbiotic relationship between them and humans throughout history. Things take a bit of an emotional twist as we talk about our previous and current dogs. Even Scatterbrains need some love.

In this episode, we review the 2020 release "Warlords", by New Zealand's Bulletbelt.

Next, we discuss the alleged 1975 alien abduction of Travis Walton near Snowflake, Arizona. This is the story that inspired the 1993 movie "Fire in the Sky". Is this a hoax or is there something to this story?

Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast, Episode 19.

No album review this week. Instead, we welcome Rodrigo "Shakal" Loreto, guitarist from Brazilian thrashers Mofo. If you haven't heard it yet, please check out our review of Mofo's "Sick and Insane" on Episode 9.

In this episode,  we geek out on music with Rodrigo. We talk music, concerts, and more. We learn about the history of Mofo and the recording sessions for "Sick and Insane". We also learn the proper pronunciation of "Mofo" and story behind the band's name.

This episode was a pleasure to record. What a great way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon! We look forward to having Rodrigo and the other guys from the band on the podcast again.

Listen all the way to the end for a clip from "Frank", track 8 on "Sick and Insane".

Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast, Episode 18.

In this episode, we learn Ian and Dan's Spanish is not very good as we review Xibalba's 2020 release, "Años En Infierno".

Next, we fall into a rabbit hole with Ian as he gives a chronology of significant UFO sightings in modern history. He could go on forever on this topic, so we had to draw a line in the sand and call this "Volume 1".
