Bongani Bingwa speaks to Dr Shaheda Omar of the Teddy Bear Clinic following the circulation of a disturbing video showing teenage girls violently assaulting a fellow pupil. The girls, aged 13 to 15, were arrested on Sunday and appeared in court the next day on charges of common assault. Police traced them after the footage went viral. National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola has warned that bullying, even by minors, can lead to serious charges including assault GBH and crimen injuria with long-term legal consequences.
