In this episode, Nicole chats with Sydney, a Your Clear Calling (YCC) alumni, about the unorthodox journey she took to reach her goals, and the breakthroughs she experienced to generate a relationship of trust with herself and her intuition.
Before YCC, Sydney was feeling stagnant in her life and her job. She had achieved the goals that she had set for herself 10 years prior and didn’t know what came next. YCC helped her get clear about her purpose and gave her the tools to pursue those goals. We get an intimate look at the personal and professional goals that Sydney has since achieved, and what comes next for her.
Sydney Ratukalou (Ra-too-ka-low) is a full-time family manager, coach, and lifelong learner. Through Your Clear Calling and coaching with Nicole, she was able to identify her purpose, and she went on to certify in Lightyear Coaching and start her entrepreneurship journey in starting her own business.

In this special early-release episode, Nicole chats with her former Your Clear Calling (YCC) student, Sarah Castle, about how Sarah transformed her life and moved from being an Amazon executive to becoming a college professor and launching her own business.
Before YCC, Sarah carried work home with her every day. She knew she needed to make a change, but didn’t know how to make the leap.
You’ll hear how Sarah decoupled her worth from her job in order to reallocate time to her family, friends, community, and things she loves to do. Hear about the unexpected benefit of incremental changes towards a goal…. even when the timing doesn’t feel right.
Sarah is the founder of Castle Coaching & Consulting, a firm focused on helping individuals and companies get clear on what they want, and then, going after it! Prior to starting her business, Sarah was an executive at Amazon, where she worked for 15 years. There she held a variety of roles in mergers & acquisitions, investment fund portfolio management, digital devices, Amazon Alexa voice technology, digital and print books, and human resources.
Through all of this experience, she honed in on her purpose – transforming organizations and elevating leaders. Now, she's working in her purpose every day by being a coach, consultant, and speaker. Outside of her business, she lives a full life where she's a mother, mentor, entrepreneurship professor, non-profit board member, published author, athlete, home cook, and an all-around badass!

Quotes From This Episode:
“In School of Self-Worth, I consider myself to be both a teacher and a mentor in this space, and also a perpetual student because my experience of self-worth and my journey of self-worth has shown me that it is a long progression. It is one that evolves and it continues to evolve as you grow and you shift and you change.”
“I remember at that time being so clear that this job is not worth any amount of money, and I would say that's probably the first time in my life I started to have a distinction around money and worth and value.”
“Because I want you all to understand, really the big theme that was going on for my life is that I never really felt successful. And I also not only didn't feel successful, I didn't feel like I was in charge of my success. I didn't feel like I was driving my success in general.”
“If you are thinking you are stuck in a career, or stuck in a direction, or the way you're supposed to live your life, know that you have so many gifts that will get you to the next stage, whatever that stage is when it shows up in perfect timing.”
“Back then, I wish I knew that partnership was not an indicator of my self-worth, that I was worthy, that I was loved, and that I could have whoever I wanted. I feel like that was the thing I wish I had known the most, that I could have whoever I wanted, and it wasn't that it was a privilege for me to be selected by them and in fact, the opposite that it was a privilege for those people to be chosen with me and that we together could create partnership that was powerful and expansive.”
