What a perfect time to remind ourselves that Spirit’s Grace is our ever-present, all-encompassing source of compassion, encouragement, our refuge and our strength. This is the time to balance the outer world with the joy of inner communion with Spirit through the power of prayer, meditation, and through connection with our spiritual community. My intention is that we will join together for this purpose throughout the month of August when our theme is: “Laughter: Spirit’s Medicine of Grace.”
The August 18, 2024 topic is Turning Ourselves Outside In. Are you ready?

Let us today–in joyous celebration and laughter–share the collective knowing that we can no more separate ourselves from our oneness with Spirit than we can remove our breath from our body or our inherent sense of humor from our beautiful humanness.

Today we will examine how our spiritual practices gift us with the willingness to welcome the unwelcome, to skillfully work with our challenges with self-compassion and a sense of humor, thus shifting them from stumbling blocks into stepping stones on our ever-evolving path of opportunities.

The July 7, 2024 topic is Freedom: Your Divine Birthright. Our inner spiritual journey directs us back to our original state of being: Freedom. Each of us has not only all that we need to find ourselves, but also to free ourselves from all forms of false belief such as lack, limitation, any sense of not-enoughness. Today we will learn how the Science of Mind teachings expand our understanding of our cherished birthright of innate freedom.
Loving greetings to you all, and happy Father’s Day to those of you who are a blessing in the lives of those whom you father, and those who have fathered you.
As you will see from our weekly topics, each is based on a timeless teaching from the Bible that is as relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago. Our founder Ernest Holmes referred to the Bible as “The Grand Old Book,” saying this of it: “We shall approach our study [of the Bible] with the idea in mind that we are working out a philosophy of life which deals with man’s relationship to Spirit.” And that’s exactly what we will be doing throughout June, whose theme is “The Wisdom of the Grand Old Book.”
The June 30, 2024 topic is Psalm 91, A Lifetime Guarantee that Can’t Be Beat! Living, moving and having our being “in the place of the Most High” describes a life of abiding in Spirit and its ever-present protection. Protection from what? From false belief in lack, limitation, fear, the “pestilence” that can overtake our minds through the media and societal conditioning. Living in a consciousness of One Power and Presence shields, guards and guides us in all aspects of our lives.
Loving greetings to you all, and happy Father’s Day to those of you who are a blessing in the lives of those whom you father, and those who have fathered you.

The June 23, 2024 topic is Matthew 13:3-9, The Parable of the Sower. The soil tilled in one’s consciousness can be compared to the commonly known four types: roadside, which is hard, compact, unreceptive; rocky, which lacks sufficient soil and depth for seeds to take root; thorny, which chokes the soil with thistles; and fertile, which welcomes the seeds, nourishes and multiplies them. How receptive and fertile is your garden of consciousness?
