Arvind Goswami, PhD is a principal molecular biologist currently working
in ImmTune Therapies, United Kingdom. In this PhD talk show, Arvind
discusses his journey in education and career. Arvind completed his
masters in virology, then pursued his PhD at the Indian Institute of
Science in Bangalore. He then went on to do postdoctoral research at
Yale School of Medicine, USA, before returning to India and joining the
Biocon. Recently, Goswami joined a startup in the Europe called ImmTune
Therapies, working closely with co-founders to develop a safer and
cost-effective nanotechnology driven gene therapy. Goswami's passion for
science and understanding of cell type signaling motivated him
throughout his journey.

generating drugs to cure genetic diseases.
Interview glimpse: Saikat Bala in this interview discussed his
background in pharmaceutical sciences and how it prepared him for his
current role in RNA development at Beam Therapeutics. Saikat mentioned
that he completed his undergraduate and master's degrees in organic
chemistry and worked on peptides and nucleic acids, which sparked his
interest in these fields. During his PhD, Saikat had the opportunity to
work with a professor who specialized in nucleic acid chemistry and
therapeutics, which gave him exposure to the field of RNA therapeutics
