Our guest on the Mibbes Aye show this week is Dr Kirsty Hughes, writer, political commentator and former Director of the Scottish Centre for European Relations. We put some key questions about EO/EFTA membership to Kirsty, including:
and many more.
There are shareable versions of each of the main questions on our Indylive Extra Youtube channel - please feel free to share them around anyone you think would be interested!
Nicola Sturgeon's keynote speech from SNP's October 22 conference delights her audience and sets the scene for the campaign for independence.
As we await the outcome of the Supreme Court hearing on 11th/12th October, Falkirk Friends of Yes arranged a public panel discussion and audience Q+A to discuss campaigning ideas.
The panel members are:
Lesley Riddoch, Broadcaster and author
Grant Thoms, lobbyist, academic and SNP activist
Neil MacLeod, Christians for Independence
Gillian McKay , MSP Scottish Greens
There was a slight issue with the sound right at the beginning of the event but we pick up the discussion just a little way into the opening speech from the first speaker.

Welcome to our round up of the momentous events of Sept 22, which include a new Prime Minister and cabinet, a crashed UK economy plus all our old favourites - the cost of living crisis (now with extra mortgage inflation), the energy crisis and the ongoing damage of Brexit.
Hold onto your hats, it's going to be a bumpy ride!
Our bonus Tuesday extra podcast episode follows on from last Friday's land Justice discussion. In this bonus episode we chat with Random Scottish History's Jenny Eeles about the historical context for the current woeful position where fewer than 500 individuals own more than half of all the private land in Scotland.
You can also watch the video version of this discussion on our Indylive Extra Youtube channel

It is a sad fact that fewer than 500 people own 57% of the private land in Scotland.
The Scottish Government are consulting on a proposed Land Reform Bill. This is open until 25th September, so we take a look at the proposals up for consultation.
With the help of two case studies - Flamingo Land's revised bid to take over Balloch and the Loch Lomond waterfront and the possibility of an islanders hostile buy out from the absentee landlord on Great Bernera - we look at some of the issues that this consultation brings to light - and many that it doesn't even begin to cover.
We have contributions from Lesley Riddoch and Robin McAlpine via Commonweal's expert panel discussion plus excerpts from members debates in Holyrood.

Campaigning is the bread and butter of the Yes Movement. In this episode of our Indy Jigsaw series, we look at different aspects of campaigning including planning, strategy, tactics, grass roots activity, campaign tools and lobbying.
Our guests are former MSP and Scottish Socialist Frances Curran, part time lecturer and lobbyist Grant Thom and Commonweal's Leo Plumb. We even take a peek into the abyss at some of the tactics used by Better Together in 2014.
There is an extended version of our interview with Frances Curran on our Indylive Extra Youtube channel and you can also see the Commonweal Campaign Centre walkthrough there too.
