From the outside looking in Dheep Matharu had it all. She’d moved across the pond to New York and had hit it big in investment banking. Money, clothes, awesome apartment, and she was utterly miserable.
It reached the point where she started her day with cocaine, and the party kept going 7 days a week.
She felt lost, guilty. What was wrong with her. She had everything she’d asked for and it sucked.
She wanted to quit but said to herself, if I’m not happy here where am I going to be happy?
She kept it all inside, afraid to tell anyone because she was convinced she would look like a fool.
Finally she found the courage to quit. Dheep says if she hadn’t quit she would be dead. She is sure of it.
Dheep is the bestselling author of ‘A New York Kind of Love’ memoir book series, is back home in England and is on a mission to help others beat addictions and find the courage to live the life they want.
In this episode Dheep shares her story, the lessons learned along the way, and her passionate commitment to help others.

Rob Howze dreams of winning a Grammy and receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in the same year.
The only person who has done that in the same year is Martin Luther King.
A big dream for a boy who grew up in the hood. In his youth he was shot, saw a cousin die from a gunshot wound to the head, and drifted onto the wrong side of the law.
Then he told himself that this can’t be it, there had to be more to life.
His first business (a moving company) failed mostly because he hired all his friends and paid them too much ($10 an hour in the 90’s was a big deal).
In 2008 he started World Wide Community a non-profit youth organization that allows children to experience sports, athletic and academic challenges in a positive and empowering environment
In 2010 his vision expanded to include an internet TV/Program reality show called Camp Fit. And in 2019 he co-launched Experts ON Stage, a platform the connects content producers, speakers, and coaching professionals that focus on self-development.

Growing up we get used to people asking us what we plan on doing for the rest of our lives?
We get this question from our parents, grandparents, older siblings, aunts and uncles, teachers, guidance counselors, casual friends of the family, and in my daughter’s case even the driving test inspector.
Raise your hand if you said, when I grow up I want to be in sales!
Chances are you didn’t raise your hand. That’s because to a lot of people the idea of a career in sales feels icky, yucky and generally unpleasant. Images of Homer Simpson greeting a door to door gun salesmen (or something similar) pop into our head.
Truth is most sales people end up in sales by chance or because someone else sees something in them. That was the case for Jules White.
Jules is the author of Live It, Love It Sell It and her mission is to help everyone fall in love with sales.
It’s an important mission. The world is filled with entrepreneurs that have a great product or service who are terrified of sales. Most often these fears are associated with negative stereotypes or they’ve had a bad experience selling.
In this episode explains:

When was the last time you left a facilitated workshop so pumped that you couldn’t wait to action the things you learned?
That should be the goal of any facilitator or teacher. So why is it that so few deliver this outcome.
John Hawley is the Founder and Corporate Facilitator at JWH Enterprise LLC. He’s also active U.S. Navy, a graduate of the Nuclear Power School, and is currently Fast Learning Advisor and Co-Creator of the illuminate Thinkshop Series.
John is in a unique position. He co-developed the illuminate Thinkshop series while on sick leave recovering from appendicitis. At the time he had already handed in his papers to transition out of the Navy. Instead he was asked to stay on to teach his workshop, and also given permission to launch his own business. (To be clear everything John says in this episode is his personal view and not related to his service).
In this episode shares:
Anyone that delivers workshops or training, or that is passionate about the need to improve public education will benefit from this discussion.
