Christy Hollywood (CP APMP) leads Hollywood & Associates, providing strategy, capture, and proposal advisory services. Christy Roach Hollywood, CP APMP, brings 25 years of capture-related experience in federal and commercial markets. Previously, Christy led and oversaw capture teams at KPMG, RTI International, Noblis, Cardno International Development, and PATH. A long-time APMP member, she also participates in the Strategy and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP), AFCEA, and Project Management Institute. Christy holds a BA from University of Virginia and an MBA (strategy concentration) from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

Chris Whyatt has spent the last 30 years of his career working in the adjacent disciplines of sales and bidding. Co – Founder Get to Great in 2008 and he supported 100+ small and big organisations. Chris has been delivering training programmes for TechUK for 15 years and has supported clients on ~50 major deals, co-created 25 business winning frameworks, trained ~1,000 people in sales and bid aspects of business. Chris co-founded the UK chapter of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) in 2001 with Jon Williams and served on the Board as COO for the first 3 years.  He was a Fellow of the Sales Leadership Alliance, which rebranded as the Association of Sales Professionals. Chris has conducted extensive research into improving the working relationship between sales and bid, publishing his second paper on this subject in January 2020.

Imposing change on people without consulting them makes them feel undervalued at best, causing them to disengage, or even worse, creating collective resistance. Historically, the industrial revolution, the miner's strike, and the Battle of Wapping come to mind. Prime Minister Thatcher recognised the threat of collective resistance, and we know what happened next. In business, new-in-position sales leaders and managers often act without harnessing the collective wisdom of the people they inherit, in essence, saying that they (the new person) know best and that they don't value the opinion or input of others. Perhaps that explains the short shelf-life of Sales Directors and even CEOs. The world of consultancy is no different, with the big players often identifying the problem and defining big (expensive) change programmes with scant reference to anyone outside the senior management team.

Paul Harding is Head of Group Tendering for Eurofins Forensic Services, part of the international life sciences and testing group Eurofins, where his role encompasses bidding, commercial and legal advisory services. With almost 25 years in sales roles, of which 15 have been in bid/tender functions, his bidding career has come through the defence and security sector into forensics. He is accredited at Professional level and has won bids into Bluelight customers, local councils, corporates, national Governments, the UK Ministry of Defence, the US Department of Defense and the United Nations. He is also a mentor on the APMPUK Rapport mentor programme.

Venu Manohar started his career in a core technical domain and switched into business domains by upscaling himself consciously. He is an APMP Foundation Certified Bid Management professional working with a Japanese MNC. He is passionate about Bid Management Profession, Book Writing, Bird Photography, Public speaking, to name a few.

                     Venu did his M. Tech in Applied Geology and started his career in Geospatial Technology domain. He did his MBA in Marketing Management and upscaled his skills in Digital Marketing as well. Owing to his constant learning attitude, he positioned himself in the Bid Management domain as a Thought Leader.

                   He switched jobs and worked in organisations of different sizes, due to which he understood the common problems faced by the people who are responsible for winning business from big Corporate/PSUs/Govt. sectors, especially by competing in public procurement/Tendering ecosystem. He precisely knows the struggles of first time bidders, bid management professionals, business owners, or others who are involved in bidding on Tenders/RFPs.

                        His book “Simplifying Bids” is about to be launched shortly. He purposefully authored this book to help the people facing difficulties understanding the core concepts of Business Development and Bid Management. He simplified the bid process and winning strategies to the possible extent so that a layman can also understand. The aim is to help the readers strategically get into the process of winning new business opportunities from bids and to sustain for long in their respective domains.

Wouter Van Tienhoven has over 22 years experience in bid and tender managemenet. He is the owner of Tender Expert and has supported leading companies including Sodexo, Talentsoucer, a Maandag company, CSU, HAGO, Adjust, ISS & Facilicom. Previously Wouter was with Yacht, a Randstad company for over 10 years taking varied Sales, Account and Proposal Roles. Wouter was teacher of economics and accounting for 12 years at Comenius College and also ran his company C.A.T where he was Consultant Novell Netware and Software Development. Wouter is Chairman of Association for Proposal Management Professionals (APMP NL) and Treasurer Foundation Ombudsman Public Contracting (OMA). Wouter is APMP Practitioner Certfied and is fluent in Dutch, English and French. Wouter hobbies and interests include hiking, reading and fitness, golf and sharing a good meal with friends.

Andrea Dunger has more than 10 years of proposal management experience and is a long-time supporter of APMP. She is Foundation certified (2011) and has been serving the APMP GMC board in multiple capacities since 2012. She’s involved with the organization and invested at the chapter level because she believes APMP helps instill best practices among the industry, providing networking opportunities with other proposal professionals you can’t get elsewhere. She is wrapping up her year as chapter chair of the APMP GMC board in 2021 and will transition to co-chair of the communications committee for 2022. Interests and hobbies: Traveling with friends, reading, all types of arts and crafts, and watching professional baseball games.
