I went to my former radio owner's funeral and the low turnout disturbed me. Perhaps in part, because disc jockeys, as a rule of thumb, are not capable of carrying on conversations with anyone, except other disc jockeys. Meanwhile, in 1991, another radio executive who killed his wife before committing suicide, had a huge turnout for his memorial service. Go figure.

Bears miss playoff on Cody Parkey "double-doink". Why FANS don't get over tough losses never ceases to amaze me.

Clemson wins national championship and the Westgate contest is finally over and I missed grabbing a paycheck by one slot.

1. Another good week in the Westgate contest (3-1) with Carolina pending.

2. The music you listen to in the car affects the speed of your driving. Women with speeding tickets are generally better in bed than those with a spotless record.

3. Go see Clint Eastwood's great new movie, "The Mule" because I told you to; not because a critic panned it. I have a tendency to fall for leading ladies in movies, not because of their looks, but rather for the characters they portray.

4. Watch ESPN's 30 for 30 documentary on Tyson / Douglas. This fight was legit but, it is still too easy to "fix" certain sporting events on the collegiate level.

5. Miss Spain was allowed in the Miss Universe pageant even though she was once a guy. A friend of mine recently broke up with his girlfriend after finding out a year after the relationship started that she was born a man. If that ever happened to you, how would you deal with the situation? Listen for fascinating discussion!

1. 4-1 in the Westgate contest brings my season long record to 42-26-2. Still looking to crack the top 25 for a big paycheck in three weeks.

2. Athletes and entertainers make mega millions because they "move the needle" in their respective professions. If you are in the top ten percent of whatever it is that you do, you will always be paid obscenely.

3. I'm still in the training stage of "card counting". By January, I'll be ready to "hit the streets".

4. Cardi B is lucky she was fired as a grocery store worker for being chronically late. From there, it was on to stripping which bankrolled her music career. Lots of people take exception to her methods of getting to the top, but I for one, applaud her efforts.

5. Who will replace Emma Morano as the world's oldest living person? She recently died at 117. If you are still healthy, would you want to live that long?

2. I say prayers every night and some of my requests are borderline absurd, but funny to listen to, nonetheless. There are some hillarious differences between Catholics and Protestants. Listen for all my noteworthy reasons why God is a Protestant.

3. Socializing is not one of my favorite endeavors, but if there is a topic I'm interesting in, I can be more than just a social butterfly.

4. Cleveland radio station bans traditional Christmas song. They never should've done that.

S.U. Week of Nov. 27th - Dec. 3rd

1. With five weeks to go in the Westgate contest, Sebastian is seven points out of first place.

2. I know many only children, including myself, who chose not to have children of their own. Listen for reasons why.

3. Lots of kids want to follow in their father's footsteps when it comes to occupations, but my father was a butcher and I wanted nothing to do with that profession.

4. Too many people from impoverished countries are storming our borders. We already have over 300 million people in this country now, which is nearly double what it was fifty years ago. We, as a society, should concentrate more on oral sex as opposed to intercourse. It's just as much fun and it helps save the planet.

5. It's still too early for Christmas music and perhaps my divorce many years ago around the holidays still makes me a Scrooge today.

6. It's now legal to buy pot in Massachusetts, but illegal to use in Connecticut. This one major reason why I hate state's rights and prefer a more federalist government.

7. Trump is one of our most hated presidents ever, but unless you are part of the solution, you are part of the problem. That's a major reason why he is still a heavy favorite to be re-elected. What's the alternative? Bernie Sanders? Joe Biden? Or, will Beto O'Rourke emerge from the rest of the pack?
