Globally nearly 1 in 3 consumer have been victimised by fraud in the past 5 years - ranging from unauthorised activity on three types of payment cards. Debit, credit and prepaid. Bringing it closer to home, a Malaysia-based credit card fraud ring was broken by the Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3), which saw the arrest of 105 individuals from Malaysia and Europe.
