Sometimes when we don't hear God's voice it is easy to feel stuck and overwhelmed. Do we act? Do we wait to have more clarity? What if we make the wrong move? What if we make a mistake? We don't always get to know.
A great way to hear God's voice if you feel stuck is to get off social media, stop texting your friends for advice, and open your bible, get quiet, and pray.
And sometimes waiting IS the action.
There is no perfect blue print, and every circumstance will play out differently. But we cannot stay stuck.
As long as you have a heart to be God's faithful servent, He will work it out, even if you make a mistake. Just don't stay stuck. Trust the process, trust in Him.

Do you feel like you get stuck when it comes to making decisions? If you want to seek God first in your business but struggle to hear His voice or discern His plans, that’s a normal thing. An entry in my current devotional - My Upmost for His Highest - by Oswald Chambers, is the inspso for this episode. Chambers had an outlook on seeing things clearly in our minds and of course, my brain went to how we apply this in entrepreneurship. If you’re ready to find clarity in your business decisions you will love this episode!
I can't even say how many times I have run ahead of God and made bad decisions, but I also can't even say how many times I've sat stuck and unmoving to make a decision because I was waiting for total clarity.
Like Matthew 11:25 reminds us- think like a child, rely on Him. the term “sheep” has a negative stigma as does the word “obey.” But be humble, and if you believe that God has your best interest at heart and that you cannot fail with him, why wouldn’t you surrender it all and follow Him?
Enjoy! XOXO, Beth

I am seeing too many Christian entrepreneurs look to their personality test and human design to guide them in their business decsions. This is dangerous territory my friend. I am not saying there isn't phsychology behind our personalities and personality type groupings but ulitimately, looking to that instead of looking to your shephard is idolitry. And Human design, it is 100% counterfiet to God's Truth. You are HIS design. You are made in His image. Where the stars were the moment you were born in the place you were born in has nothing to do with who you are or your future. There, I said it. #sorry not sorry.

If you’re husting and constantly trying to beat the algorithm have you ever stopped and asked yourself “why?” I’m not saying it doesn’t work for you but let’s deep dive into the “why” behind the struggle and pressure behind keeping up with social media and how it applies to your business and life.
Is the stress worth it? Better question, is God calling you to be there, on social media? If you need to be on social that's fine, but how does it sit with you? Are you stressed out to the max? Does social media align with you and your business? Just questions to ask yourself. XOXO

As an entrepreneur, the whole point of having a business is to make money and be successful, correct? As a Christian, we also know that choosing God’s will is our ultimate purpose in life, so how do we do both? What if God calls you do to something that isn’t going to be successful by the world's standards? What if the business He calls you to, or asks you to pivot into, isn’t going to generate six-figures? Do we bag it? Or follow Him?
When we are super focused on email marketing strategies, content creation to grow a social media following, hustling for financial freedom, and all the things on our vision board we end up burnt out, when what we really want is peace. The continuous pursuit of success and happiness by the world's standards will not deliver satisfaction like it promises.
I pray this episode gives you biblical encouragement as you journey through life as a Christian entrepreneur. I also pray that you lean on God's grace to overcome the burnout and frustration you feel as you try to build a successful business.

In this episode we’ll chat about financial security. Is it REALLY security, or a false sense of security? Do you get nervous when you don’t know the entire blueprint, then start controlling or over planning? Are you afraid to take the risk when God calls you to act on something without showing you the end game? Let's renew our money mindset and sense of security in Christ not wealth, and a new perspective on financial freedom and peace in trusting in God’s provision. Let's break free from the online business side hustles and the obsessive social media strategies.
I was watching a webinar the other day and the speaker said, "Risk taking is not reckless, but a joy in walking faith". It made me think of another time I heard a christian financial advisor say that wealthy people don't take risks. It made sense at the time, but I can’t help but look at all the stories in the bible and see that these people all did "risky" things!
The bible teaches us that we have peace when we are walking in the spirit. But have you ever really thought about how to have peace when walking into the lion's den? Or when you’re stepping out of the boat? Or when you leave everything you know behind and blindly move into the unknown? So what we do as entrepreneurs when God calls us to a risk that doesn't make financial sense?
I pray this show blesses you! XOXO, B

Is your nevrous system stuck in fight or flight mode?
Are you constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop?
When we are waiting for the bad thing to happen, we are tricking ourselves into thinking that we can predict the future.
Only God is sovereign. We do not hold the power to predict the future so why do we try to? As a Christian entrepreneur is is easy to get bogged down by the stresses of the looming economy, election year, the housing market, and how our clients' spending habits ebb and flow through all that.
Or maybe you have stress in your personal life, and waiting for the other shoe to drop is keeping you overwhelmed, anxious, and distracted. As we know, this also effects how we run our business, how we are present with our familiy, and again, the trauma response of our nervous system that needs to be healed already.
I pray this episode is biblical encouragement to help you remember who God is, and that he is the ultimate power over your circumstances. Things will not always be perfect and I am not saying (and God doesn't promise this) that nothing bad will happen, but we need to stop living in expectancy of it and start living in the expectancy of God's promises.

Have you tried manifesting? Do you have a vision board in place? Have things worked out the way you have wanted them to? Or do you feel like not matter what you manifest, it doesnt matter.
If you don't believe in manifesting, do you feel like you are stuck in certain thought patterns? Do you think you are just wired a certain way and you cannot change how you think or feel about things?
Scriputre tells us that the Holy Spirit's power gives us the power to renew our minds and change our attitudes. Let me clarify that this isn't OUR power, like New Age manifesting tells us, but that is via the power of the Holy Spirit that enable us to change our minds.
Everything is rooted in Truth. And the truth is, if we stay stuck in a negative mindset, our circumstances and thoughts will stay that way. But we can renew our mind and focus on what is good and His Truth, getting us unstuck and able to move forward with a new attitude to do His will. It doen't mean everything will be perfect and that our dream board goals will for sure be filled.... but it does mean a spirit filled mindset, that will turn into Truth focused thoughts, that will turn into our Truth filled words, and that will turn into out Truth filled actions.
