Seeking the Gospel Truth

Back in Psalm 54, King David, the God-anointed king of Israel, was ratted out by strangers — which, you’d expect these types of troubles when in war. Here in Psalm 55, he is betrayed by a friend. Just like Jesus was centuries later. Let’s dig in…

We don’t have a choice about what troubles come our way. However, we can choose to have a relationship with Jesus…

If you want a true relationship with Jesus, pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly…

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Birth pains. I’ve never had children, but I know what happens when a woman is about to give birth. The pains start — weak at first, then get stronger. Initially, they are far apart, then they come more frequent. As they increase in frequency, they increase in severity. Friend, we are going through the the birth pains of the last days.

Jesus clearly warned us about these times in His Olivet Discourse found in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13. He said, “But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.” Undoubtedly, we are witnessing the CONVERGENCE of numerous events — all prophesied in the Bible happening all at once! Unfortunately, things are going to get worse before Jesus comes for His born-again believers in the Rapture.

Here’s this week’s wrap-up…

When you look around at what’s going on in the world today, it does seem hopeless. If you focus on the bad news and the hope of the Good News fades away fast. In this psalm, David gives us a prayer to pray when we need hope — which is every day. Let’s dig in…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Well, is it time to panic yet? You know, we’re not supposed to. We’re told over and over by Jesus, “Don’t panic.” However, because we’re living in the Last Days, this world, this culture, is stirring us up so that we will panic. As you check out these news stories from this week, remember that our home is NOT this world. We must put our trust in our Sovereign God, who is still in control!

Nevertheless, at the bottom are more amazing stories of how the Good News of Jesus’ Salvation is spreading around the world. Obviously, there is still a lot of work to do and I am grateful for the privilege of being a part of it in these days. Undeniably, our Confident Hope must come from our personal relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. Look for the Words of Encouragement at the end. Let’s dig in…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Ambos mueren. ¿Dónde terminó cada uno? Vamos a ver…

Este episodio incluye Luke 16:19-31 y Lucas 23:39-43 NTV.

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Unmistakably, the outstanding last days news story this week was the catastrophic destruction of the Nova Kakhovka Dam in the Dnipro River in Ukraine. Undoubtedly, this tragedy is worse than Hurricane Katrina and the Deepwater Horizon BP Oil Spill combined. Not only is it a humanitarian crisis, but an ecological, and environmental one, also. Naturally, what makes it worse is that it was man-made. Having said that, I will not speculate on the question as to who blew up the dam. However, I’ve embedded several videos and tweets that show what a heartbreaking disaster this is. As a result, the whole area will be suffering for months, if not years. We must pray for all those affected.

Nevertheless, at the bottom are more amazing stories of how the Good News of Jesus’ Salvation is spreading around the world. Thus, there is still a lot of work to do and I am grateful for the privilege to be a part of it in these days. Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Having lived through 6 hurricanes in my lifetime, I've seen my share of uprooted trees. In fact, 18 years ago, it was the sight of 2 HUGE oak trees toppled over almost hitting my building that convinced me that it was time to leave Florida and move to Arizona. At that time, I wasn't as rooted in my faith as I am now. I'm not just rooted, I'm thriving because I am planted firmly in Jesus Christ. Let's dig in...

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

There’s too much going on! It’s becoming increasingly difficult for me to keep up with everything and post individual incidents here. However, keeping in mind the urgency of these last days, I’m going to take advantage of technology and continue embedding videos and tweets that carry some of the last days’ news

As always, at the bottom are some amazing stories of how the Good News of Salvation is spreading. There is still a lot of work to do and I am grateful for the privilege to be a part of it in these days.

Besides the Old Testament Prophets, John the Revelator, and the Apostle Paul, Jesus clearly spoke about the last days in His Olivet Discourse found in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13.
