Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

One thing’s for sure, you can’t ignore the CONVERGENCE of multiple events, prophesied in the Bible happening all at once! Besides the Old Testament Prophets, John the Revelator, and the Apostle Paul, Jesus clearly spoke about the last days in His Olivet Discourse found in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13. Let’s dig in to a recap of this week’s last days events…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

One thing that is hard to understand about fully trusting God is praising Him even when things aren’t going well — when things look bleak — when life feels hopeless. Jesus told us, “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NLT) We need to remember that whomever sits in a seat of power on earth, God rules over them. Jesus IS the KING of kings! Let’s dig in…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Last week the podcast was almost an hour long! It’s just too much for me to report all the news items under “lawlessness” and “sexual immorality”. And those are just the top stories! You should see the ones I ignored! If you want to keep up with the disgusting and horrific evil things going on, you can subscribe to any of the sources I have listed at the bottom of this blog. From now on for those topics, I’ll just post Bible verses, some videos and/or podcasts, but I won’t be going through individual news items. God help us. However, I will continue to report on other major world events just like the Bible prophesied in the last days…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Here is another of my favorite psalms. It’s short, beautiful, and has a frequently-quoted verse with the best advice ever. Unfortunately, it’s advice that should be taken daily — like a multi-vitamin. Yet, it’s advice that we often disregard. Consequently, ignoring this advice only brings on worry, stress and anxiety. Certainly, we have enough of that. So, what are these words of wisdom? Let’s dig in…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

From Genesis to Revelation the Bible is full of prophecies that all point to Jesus. Undeniably, last days prophecies are fascinating. Consequently, in the late 90s, I started researching the end times because we all thought the world was going to end with Y2K. That was when computers would go from 1999 to 2000, or 99 to 00, and they were never programmed to keep going. Well, nothing happened. In fact, that’s when computer and internet use escalated as people felt comfortable and safe online.

Fast forward to 2012. Again, the world was supposedly going to end because of a the pagan, Mayan calendar which stopped on a specific day in 2012. Once more, the world did not end.

Last Days Convergence of Events

Given that, what’s so different about now? Obviously, it’s the CONVERGENCE of multiple events, prophesied in the Bible happening all at once. Besides the Old Testament Prophets, John the Revelator, and the Apostle Paul, Jesus clearly spoke about the last days in His Olivet Discourse found in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13.

Obviously, you can pay attention, read the Bible, and pray or you can hide your head in the sand and make believe nothing’s going on. It’s up to you. Let’s dig in to this week’s events…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Holy Week — a time when devout, religious people are supposed to get closer to God. Unfortunately, it seems that they are growing further and further away. Christians walk with Jesus to the cross and then to the Resurrection. Jews commemorate the first Passover as God told them to do. Finally, Muslims supposedly fast and meditate during the day seeking Allah. Yet, because we are living in the last days, this Holy Week has been far from peaceful in many places. Let’s dig in…
