Seeking the Gospel Truth

Here's another I Saw The Light Testimony. I met Don 17 years ago when I joined First Christian Church of Phoenix. He was a member of the worship team and I helped with the video. Here's his testimony from Catholicism to Latter Day Saints (Mormon) to finally discovering the true Salvation of Jesus Christ simply by reading the Bible...

If you want a true relationship with Jesus, pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly…

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Have you ever been stuck in the mud? I have. As a teenager, there was a pond near our house. I used to go and look for wildlife. One day, after a rain, I had my rubber boots on and I stepped too far into the mud and I was stuck. It just sucked my feet in. If I tried to pull my foot out, the boot would stay in the mud. Obviously, it was a battle I could not win. That said, Psalm 40 is one of my favorite psalms as it describes how Jesus saved me, as an adult, from being stuck in the mud of my sins. Let’s dig in…

The birth pains that Jesus predicted in His Olivet Discourse are coming stronger, and more frequent. Consequently, each week as I collect news items that stand out to me, I find there are a lot more. Thus, the blog and podcast are getting longer and longer. Yet, I am moved by the Holy Spirit to report all these. Rest assured, this is not meant to scare you, but to warn you and help you find confident hope in Jesus Christ alone. Let’s dig in…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Today’s title has 2 truths. First, life is short. Second, we are obsessed with success. It’s part of our culture. What’s more, we keep asking, “What’s it all for? What’s the point to all our busyness?” We try to uncover the meaning of life. King David grappled with this in our next psalm. Let’s dig in…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

This week marked the 1-year anniversary of the invasion of Russia in Ukraine. Besides this ongoing conflict, there are more threats of wars, plus more seismic events, enemy deception, and increased Christian persecution. Yet, the Good News of the Salvation of Jesus Christ is still being preached all over the world — just like Jesus said about the last days. Let’s dig in…
