Seeking the Gospel Truth

We’re back on the Saturday schedule and there’s so much happening around the world in these last days. It amazes me how Jesus absolutely called it nearly 2000 years ago! I’ve added a new section at the end which focuses on Matthew 24:14. It’s all about the Good News — the Gospel being preached all over the world. Let’s dig in…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Yes, it’s Sunday, rather than Saturday. Yesterday I had to do the outlook for 2023, which wiped me out. So, I’ll do part 2 of the Messianic Psalms next Sunday, and we’ll be back on schedule. The first week of 2023 did not disappoint when it came to prophetic events. We are living in the last days and we can’t ignore the birth pains. Here’s the wrap-up for this week…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Are you “looking forward” to a “prosperous” 2023? After all, that is the traditional greeting on Christmas cards. When we look forward to something like a child looks forward to Christmas, we are expecting, and anticipating something good.

Unfortunately, since we are living in the last days and the birth pains that JESUS spoke of in Matthew 24, Luke 17 & 21, and Mark 13, are getting stronger, more intense & more frequent, things are going to get worse before Jesus comes for His believers. Here’s what we can look forward to…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

It’s New Year’s Eve 2022 and it seems the world is coming to an end. Reported news stories sound like they are ripped from Jesus’ Olivet Discourse in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. As your read these few, you have to admit that the birth pains are getting stronger and more frequent. A lot of these fall under the “You can’t make this stuff up!” I pray that your eyes will be opened and realize that Bible Prophecy is not meant to scare us, but to warn us and give us hope of a better world to come. Let’s dig in…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

The purpose of the Old Testament is not only to tell the story of the Israelites, what God did for them and how they rebelled. Its true purpose is to predict the coming of the “anointed one” or Messiah, who would bring not just salvation to a broken world, but justice and everlasting peace. Moreover, there are 16 psalms that are considered Messianic Psalms, with all or part of them undoubtedly proclaiming the coming Messiah — Jesus. In the first of a 2-part special Sunday Pslams series, I present the first 8 of them. Let’s dig in…

I’ve done studies on Psalms 1-33, they are linked over on my blog. As I do more studies, I will link the rest of them. I’ll be reading from the New Living Translation (NLT). I’m recording the reading of these psalms on Christmas for a reason that I’ll explain at the end.

If you’re not sure if you’re saved or not, pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly…

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

When you look at everything that’s going on in the world right now, do wonder, “What’s going on?” Interestingly enough, Jesus predicted everything that’s happening today almost 2000 years ago! Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

King David probably wrote Psalm 32 after Psalm 51 where he confessed his sin with Bathsheba. It’s a song of forgiveness. It encourages us to confess our sins to God (not a priest!) to experience being blessed and forgiven. Let’s dig in…
