If you want a true relationship with Jesus, pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly…

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Undeniably, the last-days birth pains — or sorrows — that Jesus talked about in the Olivet Discourse, found in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13, are definitely getting incredibly intense and more frequent. Russia is flexing its muscles and doubling down on Ukraine as the 1-year anniversary approaches. Then we have the tragic mega-quakes that hit Turkey and Syria. Undoubtedly, this is panning out to have the largest death toll in decades, if not centuries. Let’s dig into this weeks prophetic news items…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Jesus warned us in Matthew 24, “There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.” Birth pains, or sorrows, mean that they will become more frequent and as they do, they increase in intensity. The proof is that it’s all happening right now! Is this a dire warning of what’s yet to come? Let’s dig in…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

Have you ever been a victim of injustice? We all have at one point or another. We can respond in one of 3 ways: strike back in anger, bottle up our feelings or take our desire for justice to Almighty God. Psalm 35 is an imprecatory psalm. To imprecate means to “invoke evil”. In other words, the psalmist — in this case it’s David — asks God to curse his enemies. Should we? Let’s dig in…

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

We’re on the brink of World War III! Some world leaders say we’re already there. The Doomsday Clock is now at 90 seconds before midnight as tensions escalate in Ukraine. Terror attacks in Israel, 3 mass shootings in California, and increased persecution of Jews and Christians — all this and more show the convergence of last days predictions by Jesus Himself. Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory!

On Christmas Day, I read the first 8 Messianic Psalms. Today, I finish reading the other 8. Next week we’ll be back to the Sunday Psalms series with Psalm 34. I pray that you will find Jesus in these beautiful poems and songs. As Paul told us, “Faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.” Romans 10:17
