Select BGM

Jon and Rich will certainly think of the children in this episode that focuses (loosely) on themes about kids, for kids, and even by kids! Jon and Rich don't have children but they're pretty sure kids love listening to middle aged dudes talk about heavy metal and their failed, apathetic generation. Hey, you, get into our car and we'll take you to the nearest star here at Select BGM.

Fecal year 2017, and we're all partied out. Bask in the holy odor as "scibbity-scat-wah-caca-doody" blasts from the sewer. Sing along to these rotten picks and exorcise your mud monsters as Jon and Rich take you on a ride to brown town here at Select BGM.

It's a Blue Light Special as we travel in the Wayback Machine to the glorious time when Kmart was king and we all knew of Peter Piper Pizza. It's an easy listening sail through selections of smooth video game arrangements and escalating elevator enchantment. Ride your coin-op pony, sip on an Icee, and jump into the photo booth here at Select BGM.

If you're into Prog-Metal or Synthesizer demos you certainly know his name... let's laugh together because hardly anyone gives two-shits about Prog Synth. We at Select BGM hope to change that with a Rudess themed episode! From shiny top notes, verbose sweeping symphonic, player piano and little middle eastern flare, Jon and Rich will bring it Kurzweil style! Love to Prog and Synth here at Select BGM.

Welcome back to Select BGM! Rich and Jon are starting season 6 episode 66 just the way you'd expect; honoring the Lord of Darkness. It's not Chuck-a-Rama, it's Classic Mega Man-ia and the choice is yours. A secret Japanese mission control center constructed a training program in the 1980s to take over our minds via the power of video gaming, and it worked. Decades later the indoctrination is so ingrained that pure strains are introduced every now and then to appease the withdrawals and rioting that would otherwise ensue. In this episode Jon and Rich play their favorites from the ten classic games, and a couple of offshoots. Don't be a mark ass buster when you can be a metal blade at Select BGM.

Slip into your magical underwear because you're going on a trip. Where or when is inconsequential and merely an illusion. It's going to last forever and you're going to hate it. Sit back, level up on your favorite game and turn up the stereo for this week's meandering episode of Select BGM.

It's a pop fly to center court and the cornerback is sprinting to home base with a triple double locked up in his backswing as he slides into the net - Touchdown! Yup, talkin' sports this week. Jon and Rich bring you the best in obscure sporting themes whilst talking about feelings only the way men can; with cynicism and fear. Bring your friends to tailgate and strap on your cheesehead at Select BGM.
