In this episode, I’ll be reflecting and sharing vulnerably where I’m at, how I choose to be taking care of myself during this very hard time of year for me, and how you can practice self-care as a way to start the new year.

✔️ The first year of grief is always the hardest. Navigating my divorce and my mother’s passing was a difficult experience, but it also emphasized the importance of self-care.

✔️ Trust yourself and surrender to your feelings. Allow yourself to give what you need at the moment. Let go of judgment, worry, and fear. Letting the emotions flow through you can help you recover quicker.

✔️ Make the necessary shifts to your schedule. I had to move some of my clients because I felt like I needed more time to take care of myself. And you can too.

✔️ Find solace in the simple things. If walking your dog or buying a snack from the store is the only self-care that you can afford right now, it still counts.
