Dear Selfless Esteem, I'm in my 60s with a wonderful wife, a fulfilling career, and more than enough to live comfortably. Yet when I learn someone else has more money or greater success, I feel envious. I recently learned that a colleague earns 3 times my salary! I know comparison steals joy, but I can't seem to stop. Dear Selfless Esteem, I will be graduating from high school this year. My parents expect me to start college right away, but I am having doubts about that. I want to take some extra time to figure out what I want to do first so that when I go, I will have more direction. Everyone is telling me to just go and figure out my major later.
