This episode is a Hustler Hacks style mystery episode in which Glen poses five aspects of the following question to Ken and Anna: Are you mishandling your own inventory? Listen to see how we rate ourselves across these five aspects of inventory management, see who wins, and consider how you might rate yourself, too!
As we mentioned during a little housekeeping at the top of this episode, you can find a thorough recap of the recent Winter Seller Check In from eBay here; everything you need to know about receiving your 1099k from eBay electronically is right here in Seller Ledger's recent blog post.

Today we are discussing a big question: if all your financial needs were taken care of, would you keep doing what you do for work or in life?
We talk about the difference between working out of necessity versus working out of passion.
We discuss whether, if we didn’t have to worry about money, we might be doing something totally different with our time.
Legacy and purpose make appearances in this discussion as well, and we hope you come along for the ride and consider your own take on all of this and more!

We’re talking platform updates and refining our strategies as we move toward the end of this year and the beginning of a new one. Multiple popular platforms have changed fee structures recently, among other things. We dig into the changes, our two cents about them, and how they are (or aren’t) affecting our own businesses.

Welcome to our super spooky tax episode! Today we have special guest Kevin Reeth from Seller Ledger here to discuss with us some common concerns about taxes that online sellers face all the time! Kevin, like a one-man scooby-doo gang, is going to assuage our fears. Here’s what he’s covering, with a checklist included!
1. Getting a 1099K for the first time
2. Being taxed on the sale of personal items
https://sellerledger.com/1099-k-personal-sales/
3. Put an expense in the wrong category
4. Being audited - what are the odds?
5. Being audited - what actually happens?
Checklist:
-If you get a 1099k, keep a copy of it on file.
-Flag and subtotal your personal sales
-Do your best to keep it organized. As long as you can back up the numbers, don’t worry about it.
-Don’t cheat and don’t worry

Buckle up, because this is a deep dive into eBay Open with Ken and Anna. We're sharing our emcee experience (incredible!) as well as a thorough overview of announcements, updates, and topics addressed in the jam-packed keynote series this year at eBay Open.
We also have a little surprise interview in this episode - we had the pleasure of talking with Adam Ireland while we were on campus to co-host eBay Open, and he is always a delight! We hope you enjoy this episode. If you attended, let us know what your favorite parts of eBay Open were this year! If you didn't attend, catch the replays here!

In this episode, we bring you a few more of our favorite people behind the platform - these are folks who work for eBay, whose jobs have them working directly with sellers on all kinds of things. First up is Andrew Rabin, a sneakers category manager who keeps it real, sharing some of his experiences working with eBay sneakers and more.
However, this is not a totally sneaker-centric episode. We also talk to the iconic duo of Seller Advocates who digest seller feedback around the clock and work tirelessly to effect the changes on the platform that sellers care most about - Chuck & Chard.
We hope you enjoy this final installment of meeting some of the incredible people behind the eBay platform; we’ve had the privilege of getting to know some of these awesome humans over the last few years, and humanizing an ecommerce platform in this way has had a huge impact on our perspectives. We really are a team, after all! Let us know who YOU want to hear from the next time we do interview-style episodes!

Hustler Hacks (Glen) has another great topic for us which he stumbled across recently in an online forum. There are a million decisions to be made about how to run your business; and while we don’t tell you how to run yours, we do share our experience and past and present thought processes about what to do with profits – namely, paying yourself versus reinvesting in the business. We hope this conversation will help you think about your own business in a fresh way and give you some new insights to use for your own success!
